GUARDIANS OF WISDOM / ANCESTRAL SCHOOL – COLOMBIA
“An ancient wisdom that helps us to re-connect with nature and with ourselves”
Since 2019 this project has been connecting the modern world with ancestral knowledge and practices, providing opportunities for Colombian people of the cities to access and discover the wisdom of the Amazon and Colombia’s indigenous communities. Each month people gather in Bogotá with Elders to listen to their knowledge, to weave, and to heal. They also arrange trips into nature to fully explore and experience the depth of the teachings.
The “Guardians of Wisdom” project shares the importance of reconnecting with nature, with our ancestry, and foremost, with our purpose of life. Hearing the old stories, ancient music, traditions, and healing ways with the different kingdoms of nature among other practices and knowledge, has supported and helped many tribes to be in tune with themselves and others for many centuries. We believe these teachings can continue to thrive in these changing times, especially with people of the cities and for those who are seeking awakening.
