Kinship in the age of cyborgs
with Adah Parris
Adah Parris is a polymath, anti-disciplinary artist and activist. She is Chair of Mental Health First Aid England (MHFA UK), Chair of the the Advisory Group for the Centre for Cultural Value and a Fellow of The Royal Society of the Arts. An enthusiastic curator of people, patterns and stories, her work sits at the intersection of ecology, technology, innovation and art. Adah is the originator of Cyborg Shamanism™, a philosophy designed to spark a global movement. It examines what could happen to innovation if we combine ‘other ways of knowing’ in the design of new technologies. She starts by asking the question “What type of Ancestor do you want to be?”
