Noke Koî CLEAN DRINKING WATER PROJECT
The village of Piña Varinawa lives in relatively poor conditions compared to other tribes such as the Huni Kuin and lacks many basic facilities. An assoication called Vari Vena has been estbalished ot help raise funds to support their villages.
Kaku Kamãnawa (Spiritual Leader and Pajé) and Piná Varinawa (Chief Pajé) of the Varinawa Village joined us at Medicine Festival 2024. The money raised at the festival on their behalf allowed them to complete a project to drill and install clean drinking water in their village for the first time.
