Producing Medicine is a year-round endeavour that involves a dedicated core team. Ticket income from each edition enables us to plan sustainably, support our creative and production teams fairly, and continue making a positive impact throughout the year.
Medicine Festival remains completely independent, with no external shareholders. Every person involved is motivated by shared values – devotion , creativity, and connection – and a collective commitment to cultural and ecological renewal and preservation.
It really does take a village to make Medicine happen. In 2024, that village came together in extraordinary ways, with 252 paid crew holding the operational heart of the festival, 854 volunteers offering their time, care, and commitment, and 854 artists, performers, and facilitators sharing their creativity, wisdom, and practice. Each group played a vital role, and together they formed the living ecosystem that makes Medicine what it is.

We are always beyond grateful for those who wish to be involved in our gatherings, to share their talents and their knowledge and wisdom with the world. Alongside this, we believe in fair payment for anyone booked for Medicine Festival.
