WAR CHILD

PROTECTING CHILDREN IN CONFLICT AND WAR ZONES

War Child is a specialist humanitarian charity dedicated to protecting, educating, and standing up for the rights of children affected by conflict. For over 30 years, they have worked in some of the world’s most challenging and hard-to-reach places, supporting children and families living through war and displacement.

Across conflict zones, children are often the most deeply impacted, facing loss of safety, education, stability, and care at a critical stage of their development. War Child exists to meet children where they are, providing protection, psychological support, education, and advocacy, both during active conflict and long after the headlines have moved on.

Rooted in long-term impact, not short-term aid, War Child supports children to recover from trauma, rebuild a sense of safety, and reclaim their right to learn, play, and imagine a future beyond conflict. This includes delivering mental health support, child protection programmes, access to education, and family reunification where possible.
